FIRST.


So, i havent written a single post this month. No, not even ONE. Tragic, i know. but a lot has been going on in my life. I have finally gotten word about the intership for Good Shepherds Fold orphanage in Uganda,.... and I was ACCEPTED. YAYAYAYA! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!

In response to this being my first blog post of the month, i am going to make a list of all of the FIRST's i experienced this month:

1. First intership acceptance. GSF
2. First time I got my hair chopped off...just for fun.
3. First time I went to the the funeral of someone who I would consider a close relative. ( esp. in age )
4. First purchase of a dress at a thrift store...and wore it to a formal
5. First dance with a guy. im lame. i know. but, it was to cryin' shoulder - by Edward McCain.
6. First time I painted my nails in aqua and purple sparkle nailpolish.
7. First time I made a 99 on a history paper.
8. First time I tried ninja turtle at Jerry's snowcones.
9. First time I bought coffee at the new University Center on Campus.
10. First time I was a leader for a DNOW at Kirby Woods.
11. first time I made a piece of pottery on the wheel.
12. First time I went to see "Parallels" play.
13. First time I ate a sprinkled donut at Gibson's
14. First time I rode in my aunt's car. Keep in mind she's had her car for a few years now.
15. First time I stir fried tenderloin.

Whew, thats a lengthy list. haha. well, how about some of your "First" of this month? Let's hear em'.

    i can't think of any more haha.
    but the song you danced to is actually by Edwin (not edward, weird i know) McCain and is called I'll Be. ;) cute/awkward song. Yay Cayce!

  3. First time i pulled two back-to-back all-nighters.
    First time i was naturally high (lack of sleep from the all-nighters).
    First time i was one of those overachieving students that i hate (yeah, me. but only in 2 out of 7 classes).
    First time i painted something that's about 3'x4'ft.
    First time i've had or even thought about a blog.
    First time i decided on grad school, other than seminary.


    yeah son. that's it. actually, i'm positive there are more.

    if you two go to jerry's without me before i go to tampa, imma' be upset with you two white girls.

    cayce, i'm kind of upset that you danced to "I'll Be", you play it all the time,yet still you didn't know the correct title or the artist.

  4. Lets see..firsts for last month.

    First time I prayed with one of the girls on the softball team personally (it was the first time anyone had ever prayed with her as well.. :) which was amazing to hear)

    First time I have even THOUGHT of having the opportunity to go to the philippines.

    First time I made it through a season without getting hurt in the past few years :)

    First time seeing a very good friend of mine playing softball on tv...really weird. but pretty awesome.

    oh.....i don't have too many firsts from last month, or maybe i'm just forgetting. but i think all of those are pretty good ones :)
